As a company we have always aspired to produce and supply the best quality products at affordable prices. The past couple of years have been extremely tough for everyone and whilst times remain difficult we maintain a positive outlook for the longer-term future. Despite this we must band together to deal with short-term issues and challenges.

2022/23 have seen radical changes to the UK Forestry Industry, with overall costs increasing more than 30% on average (Timber supply shortages and the introduction of new environmental laws, combined with rising fuel, labour and haulage costs). Understandably this has put tremendous strain on us as a business, as a result forcing us to increase our prices, to continue operating.

We greatly thank you for your patience and understanding.

Can I burn your logs straight away?

Yes, all of the wood we sell is ready to burn. We only sell dry wood, which is ready to use from the day you receive it.

What size are the logs in your Kiln Dried Firewood Bags?

The logs are 23cm (9″) in length, an in-between size which will fit in almost any fireplace or log burner. We found this to be great choice if you want to try out our firewood and work out the best size logs for your fire before ordering a larger bulk delivery.

If you try these and would prefer larger logs, you can opt for the 25cm or even the 33cm. Likewise if you decide you prefer the smaller logs then you also have the option of 20cm with our bulk loads.

Moisture content in firewood is one of the key aspects to consider when purchasing.

High moisture content can cause your fires to smoke, line your chimney with excess soot and burn inefficiently along with a host of other disadvantages.

On the other hand, firewood of a low moisture content is:
